Lee Hubert – Founder, Principal Consultant

Lee Hubert is a leadership trainer, coach, facilitator and speaker. He is the founder of Manager Success LLC and the author of Behind the Manager’s Closed DoorLessons in Managerial Leadership‘. The workbook is available on Amazon


Lee draws from over 25 years’ experience in human resources and leadership development roles in the laboratory, healthcare, technology, financial, and energy sectors at Fortune 500 companies including: Carilion Clinic, MCI, Wisconsin Energy, Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, Wake Forest University Hospital, and the Hospital Corporation of America.
As an on-boarding coach for laboratory-scientific-operations and sales talent, Lee works with some of the most cutting-edge biotech companies in the USA.


As a public speaker, he has presented leadership development topics at management retreats and strategic planning sessions throughout the US regarding communication, professional development, conflict resolution, time management and management best practices.


Lee holds an MBA in Human Resource Management and SPHR / Senior Certified Professional (SCP) Certifications. He resides    at Smith Mountain Lake, VA with his wife Jane. His other interests include running, playing guitar and golfing.

Jane Missel – Director of Marketing

Jane Missel joined Managers Success with more than 30 years of experience in sales, marketing, coaching, business development and performance management. She has enjoyed coaching and mentoring others while helping them achieve their goals. Certifications held include: Integrity Coaching and Integrity Selling as well as Principle-Centered Leadership, Strategic Planning, Wellness in the Workplace and Multi-Channel Marketing.

Jane previously served in various positions with: the American Red Cross, Deluxe Corporation, BH Media Group, Moore North America/RR Donnelley and Fiserv. She earned many awards including Circle of Excellence, Achievement Club and Sales Woman of the Year. Jane also served as President and Board Member of the National Association for Professional Sales Women and Direct Marketing Association. Jane holds a BA in Business & Marketing and also volunteers her time with non-profit organizations. She is married to Lee Hubert and together they reside near Smith Mountain Lake in Hardy, VA. Steven K. Rogstad – Senior Consultant

Steven K. Rogstad is an author, speaker, instructor and scholar of Abraham Lincoln.  He is the principal of Kenson LLC, Racine Wisconsin and Co-creator of The Lincoln Experience – Leadership Offsite Training. Click here for a 1 minute video preview.

Mr. Rogstad’ s avocation has been the study of Abraham Lincoln. For 30 years he has taught seminars and courses on Lincoln-related topics at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside (Kenosha, WI), Carroll University (Waukesha, WI), Kenosha Civil War Museum, and the Sheboygan County Historical Research Center. He served as an editor for the Lincoln Fellowship of Wisconsin and the Lincoln Herald – a journal of Lincoln studies published by Lincoln Memorial University at Harrogate, Tennessee. He is the author of numerous publications related to Abraham Lincoln and his era. 


In 1997 he established the Lincoln Monument Restoration Project, which coordinated the restoration of Albert Louis Van den Berghen’s statue of Abraham Lincoln in Racine. He has delivered dedicatory addresses for the Abraham Lincoln/Mary Todd Monument in Racine’s East Park (1993), and the Lincoln Monument in Burlington (2014). In 2009, Mr. Rogstad’s “Lincoln Moments” were broadcast daily on Newstalk 1400 WRJN as part of the national Lincoln Bicentennial celebration.

Mr. Rogstad holds a BA in Communication from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside and is the author of numerous reviews and articles related to his own Lincoln research. He wrote introductions to The Gettysburg Soldiers’ Cemetery and Lincoln’s Address by Frank L. Klement (1993) and The Limits of Dissent: Clement L. Vallandigham and the Civil War by Frank L. Klement (1998). He was co-editor for The Many Faces of Lincoln (1997) and edited/ introduced Lincoln’s Critics: The Copperheads of the North by Frank L. Klement (1999). He is the author of Companionship in Granite: Celebrating the Abraham Lincoln and Mary Todd Lincoln Monument (1998) and Racine’s Lincoln Legends: Laying Three Myths to Rest (2014).
